We departed our lodging with Israelies at 7:00 A.M.
We rode on the roof of the Jeepney, it was very exciting.
We arrived in Batad after an hour.
We walked a lot and talked about Korean and Japanese language with the guide.
We arrived at the tour guide association office at 11:00 A.M.
If you want to know rice terraces details, you have to donate money.
We ordered our lunch. The restaurant owner said after we returned our sightseeing,
they would provide lunch.
If you want to stay, you have to pay 300 pesos each.
I asked the guide whether this place is cold at night or not. He said to me,
"This place is good because outside is cold, inside is warm and outside is hot, inside is cool."
I could see the track of donation at the rice terraces.
This place was built to 2,000 years ago by Ifugao people. They ate humans.
Batad is calm and peaceful village in the Philippines.
Although this place is in a countryside, there is a catheral.
I am suprised because although it is old, condition is still good.
Filipinos can't be die of hunger because of these terraces.
I took a picture at the second resting place. I heard that the altitude in this place is 2,500 m..
That top place is the viewpoint which we can look the ampitheatre rice terraces.
Unfortunately, I can't see it because weather was not good and one of our members couldn't go.
Instead, we were going to the Tappia waterfalls. This place is not near, too.
There was a restaurant which was near to the Tappia waterfalls.
We arrived at Tappia waterfalls. Jeff and Picasso swam.
I didn't swim because I can't swim. T.T
While we came back our restaurant, there were scarecrows.
I saw pigs which was in Batad.
Although this place is countryside, there is an elementary school.
After we were arriving near to Jeepney, weather was changed.
We left there at 5:00 P.M.
We arrived in Baguio at 2:30 A.M. It lasted 9 hours 30 minutes.
Although I was tired, I am pleasure because we survived Batad.
